About Dr. Shaunté V. Jones
Dr. Shaunté V. Jones is the Founder & Principal Consultant of Steady Journeys Consulting. She brings more than two decades of experience across early childhood education, program leadership, organizational development, and federal early childhood systems.
Dr. Jones has supported early learning programs at the national, state, and local levels, specializing in licensing readiness, operational planning, curriculum and program design, staff development, performance improvement, and project management for program launch and growth.
Her career spans federal early childhood systems, public and private early learning programs, and faith-based educational environments. She is known for her structured, practical approach to helping leaders build compliant, mission-aligned programs with clarity and confidence.
She holds an Ed.D. in Learning and Organizational Change, an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership & Administration, and a Master of Science in Elementary Education. She also holds a Virginia Post-Graduate Professional License with endorsements in Elementary Education and Administration & Supervision, and serves as Vice Chair of her local school board. Her work is anchored in service, faith, and a deep belief in the power of strong early learning systems.
